The talk: Solving the Designer’s Dilemma: From Data to Meaning  

Research can be an avalanche of information or a goldmine of understanding. How do you focus research to achieve design relevance, and how do you apply findings to discover unexpected ideas? The presenters will share their own recent research projects focused on retail and brand engagement and talk about techniques designers can use to translate data on trends and consumer behaviors into real meaning that makes design more effective.
