2013
A.R.E Design Awards 2013
Association for Retail Environments awarded KRS with the Grand Prize for Convenience Store of the Year at the 2013 A.R.E Design Awards for design and build of the local convenience store, Pacific Roads.
The awards ceremony at the Downtown Chicago Hard Rock Cafe honored all aspects of retail design from select projects all over the world.
2012
DDi “Design Leaders” 2012 DDi Magazine
KRS was named “Front Line Customer Service Team of the Year” in the 2012 annual Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service. Other finalists included Boeing, Facebook, Ford Motor Company, Google, Groupon, ING, Macy’s, Marriott, Office Depot, Twitter, Volkswagen, and Warner Bros.
2011
VMSD Retail Renovation Award 2011. KRS’ work on Lakeview Grocery’s New Orleans conversion took home top honors. Judges lauded the clean and simple nature of the design that creates an emotional bond with the consumers.
Convenience Store News “Store Design Awards” 2011. Murphy Express, El Dorado, Ark., won honorable mention for best interior design.
Progressive Grocer’s “Best Overall Store Design” 2011. KRS’ design for Calgary Co-Op Quarry Park Centre, Calgary, Alberta won in the category of new, ground-up construction, under 50,000 square feet.

2010
CSA Store-of-the-Year Design Competition 2010. KRS was awarded overall best supermarket design for Robért Fresh Market
CSA Store-of-the-Year Design Competition 2010 KRS was awarded honorable mention for Calgary Co-Op
Outstanding Environmental Practices 2010, 2009. KRS was honored with the Environmental Excellence Award by Laird Plastics.
